Nearly a final version of this song but the vocals were recorded when I was suffering from a series of chest infections, the heavy processing was an attempt to cover that up but someday I will go back and record them properly.

The songs we sung will fade away
A new generation with something to say
New colours on the poor man’s shirt
New Places to hide the hurt
Another turn of the hourglass
Styles and fashions come and pass
But maybe this time something real
Comes to light as the days reveal

This is a roller coaster we are on

All our schemes and plans defeated
From multi national multi million dollar
Down to the people living in squalor
